I am from Yonkers, New York.

Where did you go to school?
I attended Westchester Community College, College of New Rochelle and the Pace University Pleasantville campus.
Why did you become a nurse?
I was challenged by an old army nurse who told me, “You’ll never make it as a Nurse”. I fooled her and came in top of my class!
Why do you enjoy providing home care?
Patients recover well at home with the correct support. There is also a major opportunity to provide education one on one!
What would you like your patients to know?
They are my first priority!
What would you like family members of patients to know?
Your loved one is our major focus.
How do you maintain your passion for nursing?
It’s in the blood! We l o v e to learn and do.
What do you believe is the key to superior home care?
Communication, excellent clinicians and a caring staff.
Do you have an experience as a nurse that has shaped how you provide care?
I had a patient that I just didn’t click with, I pictured them as one of my family members and it changed everything. It also shaped how I wanted to be treated in a similar situation. I try to put myself in the patient’s place.
